An Illustrated Journey: The Chat Show

One of the best things about working on my new book, An Illustrated Journey: Inspiration From the Private Art Journals of Traveling Artists, Illustrators and Designers, has been the chance to talk to so many people who have inspired me. In the course of the last couple of years, I have had the chance to collaborate with dozens and dozens of gifted artists, illustrators and travelers and they all have unique lessons to teach and wisdom to share. To enhance the experience of reading the book, I have been recording video chats with the contributors and I’ll be sharing them here, on YouTube and a special channels on Vimeo.  Each one is 20-60 minutes and I’ll be posting them twice a week.

  1. Can’t wait! I still listen to the podcast you did when ‘An Illustrated Life’ came out. I should be receiving my copy of ‘An Illustrated Journey’ in the mail by Friday.

  3. Sounds good but will they be captioned????? Deaf people like myself would love the equality in being able to watch and enjoy the videos! I keep asking to have vids captioned but get no response so excuse my shortness here!

    1. Dear gypsysnail:

Im sorry that I haven’t responded to your requests to caption my videos. However, I am one person working on drawing and books in my spare time and don’t have the ability to transcribe and caption hours and hours of videos. I do apologize and hope you understand,
      Danny

        1. Wow you are so kind Jill, how can I repay you? I would love to buy you one of Danny’s books for trying to do this for me. You have no idea how much it means to me, someone willing to help me 🙂

  4. The book as viewed on Amazon looks excellent! I too draw my trips as I travel. I especially enjoy it on long road trips across the country (USA)… They are so much fun to look back on and relive the captured memories. Congrats on yet another terrific book! Soon I will have a whole shelf just filled with Danny Gregory tomes!

  5. Curse you Danny Gregory! I just got what will be tonight’s dessert in the mail today. How am I to get any work done with this sitting on my desk shouting, “Stop working and open the book!!!!” Thanks for including such a talented bunch of sketchers.
