  1. I don’t know you personally, Danny, but I have been following your blog and have read several of your books AND signed up for Sketchbook Skool……I just want to send you a big hug. That’s all.

  2. She is beautiful in life and it spirit. I am glad you had the opportunity to grow with her and she with you. May she continue to ompact your life in a positie manner as you move forward to new adventures and revisit old ones. She helped make you who you are, and we, the art community, are so glad to have you. You are a blessing. Thank you Patti.

  3. You will never forget because we aren’t suppose to forget those we’ve lost. They live on in our hearts and memories. What a treasure. Thank you for sharing.

  4. Danny, as a recent follower of your blog I wasn’t previously aware of Patti – this huge part of your personal history. As I read your previous posts I became so moved by your devotion and tributes to this remarkable woman. I wish you comfort and peace and thank you for enriching our lives with your memories.

  5. Danny I recently read that when Lou Reed passed his wife Laurie Anderson gave an interview in RS and said ” I believe that the purpose of death is the release of love.” I hope this helps a little. See you in SKOOL.

  6. I happened across your wonderful blog, for the first time, not long after Patty died. I wanted to comment then but the pain was all so raw I couldn’t think that anything a stranger could say would comfort you. I just prayed that you and your son would somehow find a way, like me, to muddle through it. My husband, Don, was killed in an auto accident in Oregon in 1991. Many of us who experience the loss of loved ones are changed, I think, by the event in ways we don’t expect. I have been stopping by occasionallly to read, look at your art, watch videos and marvel at your progress and healing. Seeing the picture you posted of Patty at this 4 year junction was poignant. It says much about her, so alive then and how much you meant to each other. You will never forget, but you also cannot remain in the past, you have decided to live. I’m so glad for us….those who will benefit from your generosity and compassion.
