this past fall I read a fascinating book, Arabian Sands, by Wilfred Thesiger, who was an explorer of the middle east, and lived among the Bedoins. Your video reminds me of some of the photos and conditions he has in his book – though the art hadn’t gotten there yet. What a great experience for you, Danny!
How interesting. I discovered you last week. I’m from NJ and lived in Manhattan for 5 years. Currently residing in Saudi Arabia. Such a small world. There isn’t much art in the desert here though.
