This San Francisco jewel just reopened and it’s one of the best museum experiences I’ve ever had. 460,000 square feet that’s chock-a-block.
I am madly inspired to paint but, alas, my studio is 3,000 miles away.

My girls took me along to the Degas exhibition in Melbourne last week and I was underprepared – too much art – too little time. I will have to go back. I know you will see and absorb as much as you can and then get home and paint like a mad person!

Love your shot of the person just behind the Serra piece. Good job. Looking forward to a visit there this fall. Thanks for all of this. Inspiring you are no matter where you are!

I’ve always loved the blue shadows in Thiebaud’s food still lifes. It’s whimsical but true. Looking forward to visiting SFMOMA someday. Thanks for posting these.
