I am late to share this interview I did last month with Heart Your Art. I reveal a lot in this short interview, including why I prefer cities over deserts and how I sum myself up in a word.
Read it and you could win a free kourse at Sketchbook Skool.

Hi Danny you are definitely on target why the pencils crayons markers get put aside. I’ve been criticized by my closest loved ones and dear friends. Sometimes I draw for my own mental benefit. I still draw but most of the time I don’t let anyone see my creations. Just my grandchildren their not critical. Everyone should have a child’s eye once in awhile.

Wonderful and insightful interview, Danny! You were able to put into words so beautifully the reasons I need to make art. I am going to look into all of the recommendations you made, starting with Chefs Table. You are gifted man. Thank you for sharing it.

Hi Danny
If “art is about revealing who you are to yourself, and that is something still quite confusing when you are 18 or 20”, then decades later I’m still confused, but who cares when you are having fun drawing!
