I got a chuckle out of the fact that (according to this blogger) Danny is challenging folks to “put gauche” to paper. “Gauche” is all our socially awkward, ungraceful unsophisticated-ries. (Did the author mean “gouache,” the painty stuff?) Then again, maybe we SHOULD let our backwardness, our pimples and hemorrhoids hang out, so we won’t ever be in danger of taking ourselves too seriously . . .
